The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position SummaryThe Psychology Technician position within the donor-funded Promise Clinic is designed to work in tandem with Promise clinicians, education coordinators, and family navigators on Promise Clinic services for students with learning and related disorders. The Psychology Technician position will include administrating and scoring of psychological and neurocognitive tests, preparing written summary of test results, conduct patient interviewing, conduct behavioral observations, data entry and management, follow-up communication with families, school observations, tours, and attendance at IEPsResponsibilitiesWill administer and score psychological and neurocognitive tests.Prepare written summary of test results, conduct patient interviewing, behavioral observations, and psychological and neurocognitive tests.Attend relevant clinical and administrative meetings.Follow-up communication with families and related data management.Attend school meetings, including school observations and IEP meetings.Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.

Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in psychology or education or related field preferred.Knowledge of psychological testing procedures and examinations preferred.Candidates who have worked in organizations providing family supports/services, preferred.Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred.

Other RequirementsMust complete all online systems training requirements.Ability to establish and maintain effective contact with patients during the administration of tests.Highly organized; good interpersonal skills; analyzing and interpreting data; adaptable to change.Able to use public transportation to travel to and from meetings; able to use general office equipment for daily use.Telephone-frequently; small hand tools- frequently; copier; fax machine; and computer.
