What You’ll Do:We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to take part in the development of Telos software As one of the key members of the software team, you will architect, develop, and test the software applications that the physicians will interact with when using the Telos robotics system. You will also play a pivotal role in implementing IAM across our different software applications. You will work closely with other software engineers as well as system and UX engineers to design and implement solutions that meet clinical needs and requirements. You are willing to learn outside your comfort zone and to teach others.
Core Job Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation and testing of Identity and Access Management across our software applicationsInterface IAM systems with applications using API communications and web servicesDesign and implement responsive UI applications that include real time video rendering and other complex graphics components. Work closely with other engineers (software, clinical, systems, UX) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for a medical applicationUnderstand user needs, clinical needs & customer input requirements to drive software developmentParticipate in design discussions and code reviewsWhat You’ll Bring:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and 6+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience8+ years designing and developing software applicationsStrong background in object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patternsExperience with C++ programming and multi-threaded applicationsExperience with other programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScriptExperience building and operating systems pertaining to user provisioning, user identity & access management (SSO, MFA, SCIM, Oauth, Auth0, OIDC, RBAC/GBAC, etc.)Excellent communication and documentation skillsDesired Knowledge
Experience with software development in a regulated industry (IEC62304 preferred).Experience designing and developing APIs via REST and JSON

Salary Range: $187,000 to $207,000 annuallyPlease note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Imperative Care considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
