$32.45As the company expert in document change control (ECO) processes this position will successfully manage all aspects of the documentation process in a timely manner related to product configuration, manufacturing, assembly and related processes, observing legal guidelines and best practices.Role and Responsibilities:Collects, updates, and distributes all documents in a timely manner associated with the release and ongoing enhancements/upgrades for each of our products.Actively participates in team-related activities and design reviews, bringing strong communication and collaboration skills to the tableEnsures the quality of product builds before release by conducting thorough production audits on BOMs and travelers.Maintains documentation for all incoming material, and in-process activity including saving soft and hard copies for traceability purposes.Manages tooling system/equipment calibration and maintenance.Manages the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner.Updates and manages the Arena Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to process and control documents and interacts as appropriate with related systems such as the Sage 100 enterprise resource planning system.Assists other employees in following document control procedures ensuring that current documents are available.Be a member of the Quality Management System Quality Committee and participate in achieving quality goals as defined by the QMS.Lead and manage the QMS/ISO 9001 audit functionSkills and Experience:Demonstrated expertise in managing a wide range of quality documentation, including training compliance, approved suppliers, non conformance, corrective and preventive actions, design history files, inspection records, build records, and internal audits.Prior experience in an electronics/computer manufacturing companyPrevious experience working with engineering and manufacturing departmentsStrong computer skills; must be an experienced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook userExperience with PLM and ERP systems, Arena and Sage a plusStrong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skillsHighly self-motivated with good organizational and time management skillsAbility to work with other employees in engineering, purchasing and operationsPerks and Benefits:While working as a Balance Staffing Associate, you will be able to take advantage of weekly pay, optional medical benefits, paid sick leave, and state-specific retirement saving options in accordance with state or local law.Apply now and one of our recruiters will reach out to you!Balance Staffing is proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace.
