Java Software Engineer-locals to MA

Role: Java DeveloperLocation: Boston, MA (locals Only)Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Java (Java 8/11/17+).Implement and manage APIs (REST/SOAP) and integrate third-party services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems and codebases.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.Develop front-end and back-end components for complex applications.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Work with tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes for CI/CD.Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to current projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Java development.Strong expertise in Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and data structures.Experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or JSP/Servlets is a plus.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
