Senior Sales Account Executive-Customs Brokerage

To sell customs brokerage services for geographically aligned accounts to increase territory revenues. Possesses detailed knowledge of customs brokerage regulations and requirements as well as the customs clearance process to attain or exceed designated territory objectives for new and existing customers. This position works collaboratively with other account representatives to identify opportunities, expand customer relationships, and minimize customer churn.

Attain or exceed designed territory goalsDemonstrated success in consultative sellingExecute a successful territory management process which includes calling on new prospectsLeadership position in the assigned territory to include ongoing continuing education and participation in trade seminarsIdentify opportunities and align resources required to achieve revenue objectivesProvides customs brokerage product expertise and input during solution development, contract negotiation, statement of work, and pricing agreement to maintain competitiveness and profitabilityParticipates in onsite customer meetings and conducts quarterly business reviews to provide leadership and strategic vision as related to customs brokerage building long standing parternshipsAdvises customers on supply chain improvement opportunities and works collaboratively with other teams to develop solutions reinforcing the FedEx value-added propositionReviews customs brokerage service standards with customers to reach agreement on service levels and to retain business and manage growthPerforms other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree/equivalent.Previous sales experience minimum 6 yearsExcellent listening, communication, and presentation skills to identify customer needs and offer solutionsSelf-starter/ self-motivated to accomplish sales goals and objectivesVery good organizational and time management skills to help w/territory planning and maximize selling timeStrong self-confidence to assist in developing relationships in a highly competitive and price sensitive environmentDemonstrates attention to detailSome travel requiredPreferences:Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the functions, regulations and procedures of compliance agencies or governing bodiesIn depth knowledge of int'l trade service w/emphasis on customs regulations and procedures in the U.S. and/or CanadaCertifications for customs compliance and/or holds US customs brokerage license (CCS, LCB)Preferred Qualifications:Pay Transparency:

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
