The Opportunity:As a scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done.On our team, you'll coach a development team of professionals to attain their highest performance, while ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You'll apply basic scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems.Work with a development team as a scrum master to facilitate Agile best practices and mentor new team members on Agile processes. Facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Support the management team in communicating with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations. Collect and write detailed user stories and work with the team and client to identify associated tasks and acceptance criteria. Analyze business processes and work with the project team to implement and improve processes. Maintain a product backlog, support QA and requirement validation, meet with various stakeholders to discuss needs, and provide suggestions during stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering. Provide documentation for new efforts, including level of effortanalysis, plans or timelines, requirements documents, and other required documentation.On our team, you'll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You'll apply basic scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:2+ years of experience as the Scrum Master of a development team

Experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements

Experience with JIRA

Experience teaching technical teams the basic Agile framework concepts

Top Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:Knowledge of the project management framework

Knowledge of agency or intelligence community and IT infrastructures

Possession of excellent problem-solving skills, to provide technical assistance to IT development teams

Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree a plus

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification

Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
