Position title: Software Engineer, Data ConversionPosition #: 129828Join our team to be a part of the exciting transformation as we migrate UMD computing systems to a modern cloud-based solution. The Software Engineer, Data Conversion will use various technologies to migrate data from Legacy systems to the Workday platform as part of the Workday Student implementation. The position is hands-on, agile, team-based development. The Software Engineer is responsible for:* Implementing solutions within a development team.* Following a formal development methodology and working within scheduled timelines.* Participating in peer code reviews, documentation, and formal testing.This position is considered an essential position and may be required to work at the normal work location or an alternative location during a major catastrophic event, weather emergency, or other operational emergencies to help maintain continuity of University services.Minimum Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.Experience:

Two (2) years of professional experience supporting the operations, maintenance, and administration of information technology infrastructure.Other:
