What you'll be doing...Adjusting network sizes to meet volume or capacity demandsCommunicating with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needsCoordinating network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgradesDesigning, building, or operating equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systemsDetermining specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemasDeveloping and implementing solutions for network problemsThe right person has...
A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field2-4 years of network/systems administration/related work experienceCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification would be a plusKnowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storageKnowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services softwareThis role requires on-site support for all IT-related functions, including desktop support, application support, and computer room operations support. The successful candidate must be able to climb ladders, work at heights, and be willing to rotate shifts between first and second shifts.
