with Java development experience to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities to include, but not limited to Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence.Eligibility:

of software development experienceResponsibilities Include:

Act as the SME for Atlassian tools (Jia, Jira Align, Confluence, etc..).Provide recommendations and deploy sustainable architecture throughout multiple environmentsProvide day-to-day operational support activities as well as strategic planning initiatives with Atlassian toolsCollaborate within Agile Scrum team as a key contributor responsible for converting proprietary vendor code for integration with multiple advanced cybersecurity-oriented capabilities.Create interfaces and interaction layers using industry best practices, latest web trends/technologies and associated toolsWork with customers, testers, and administrators to develop, test, and deploy software buildsDevelop high quality technical documentation, as needed, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable itemsRequired Skills:

4+ years

of hands-on experience with Java development and related technologies2+ years

of experience with Agile software developmentExperienced in the development lifecycle of supporting and customizing Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Align, Confluence) to meet the needs & demands of enterprise stakeholdersSolid understanding and hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systemsSolid understanding and working experience with cloud technologies, i.e. AWS, AzurePossesses or quickly develops a comprehensive understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelinesMust be able to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locationsDesired Skills:

Technical understanding of account management and user authentication solutionsExperience with JavaScript, XML and SQLExperience and/or familiarity with Continuous Development / Continuous Integration concepts, and toolsExperience with integrations utilizing cutting-edge and cloud technologiesExperience working with HSPD-12DHS experienceDesired Certifications:

DoD 8570.1 IAT Level IICertified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Windows/Linux Admin, Cloud SIEM, CISSP, Security+, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering. 8 years of experience (for a total of 14+ years) may be substituted for a degree. Master’s degree in a related discipline may substitute for 2 years of experience. PhD may substitute for 4 years of experience. 2 years of related professional work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education
