PLC Programmer

Job Title: PLC ProgrammerLocation: Toledo, OHAs a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC systems used in our battery manufacturing processes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of automated machinery and equipment. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to implement control strategies that enhance productivity and safety.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement PLC programs for new and existing equipment within the battery plant.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define control requirements and specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, HMI, and other automation systems.Conduct system tests and validation to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.Create and maintain documentation, including program code, system configurations, and user manuals.Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and operators.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PLC technology and automation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field Or 15 years of experience in the auto industry.Proven experience in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).Strong understanding of control systems, industrial automation, and robotics.Proficient in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.Experience with HMI programming and SCADA systems is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the Auto Industry / battery manufacturing industry or related fields.Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in industrial automation.Please apply on our secured job site at > or email careers@
