The
Clojure Engineer
supports functions which require automation/systems development, including initial development and ongoing support of the suite of applications that would help manage pricing, trading, hedging, pooling and shipping or other functions depending on the department. As the
Clojure Engineer , you must be proficient in Open Source skill sets that support the IT development path.The
Clojure Engineer
will:Use the latest tools and techniques (Clojure, Python, Typescript, AWS Services, Agile Methodologies, Web Services)Use BDD/TDD techniques during developmentPrepare software for deployment to production environmentsRespond to and resolve questions and issues logged by users of a live systemManage small projects independently and work as a team member on larger projectsPerform other related duties as required and assignedDemonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of relevant work experienceKnowledge of Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum is helpfulExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testingExperience with Linux and open source softwareFinancial services experience, especially related to mortgages and mortgage backed securities, is desirable

Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the roleMid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the roleHigher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the roleSome roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance=Salary$90,000 - $150,000
