Senior Platform DevOps Engineer , you will lead the transformation of software engineering through the integration of development and operations on a comprehensive cloud-based platform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating predominantly cloud-based infrastructure services, as well as modernizing the platform's design with emerging technologies and DevOps/DevSecOps tools. Your role will involve collaboration with software engineers and agile development teams, as well as integrating security and compliance into the platform.What You Will DoSupport transitioning a system tightly coupled to underlying infrastructureAssist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelinesCollaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutionsIntegrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access managementProvide operational support for the platformQualifications You Must HaveBS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years related work experienceExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, programming/scripting languages, and security certificationsActive U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearanceQualifications We PreferExperience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines toolsExperience with automation frameworks, scanning tools, and infrastructure services on Linux based Operating SystemsExperience with Cloud based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
