DOCSIS Engineer III

Top 3 Requirements:- Strong experience troubleshooting DOCSIS (not just experience setting it up)- Deep knowledge of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and Optical Network Unit (ONU)- OFDM / OFDMA or ATDMA knowledgeDay to Day/Project:Troubleshoots and resolves escalated Access and CPE device field issues.Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.Establishes security, connectivity and access parameters.Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.Tests and tunes security devices and systems.Programs routers and switches.Implements communications technologies (data or voice).Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
