We have an outstanding Contract position for aSoftware Engineer to join a leading Company located in theManassas, VAsurrounding area.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Candidate must possess an active Secret Security Clearance. Will accept an Interim Secret Clearance.

Be part of the key Cyber engineering team that is building new security architectures across a large and critical Naval Platform system of systems. Lead a team of software and cyber engineers. Provide Software engineering expertise , while understanding architectural need and finding cyber solutions that can fit that need .
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum two years' experience with a high level programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C+
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with a Linux variant OS
Experience with Git Source Code Management and automated build tools like Ansible
Experience or understanding of basic networking switch/router concepts
Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications:
A desire to create new capability and develop from design
Experience with developing Containerized Applications
Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, or other CI/CD and DevSecOps tools Experience /Familiarity with the Strategy Design Pattern and/or Plugin Architecture Design
Experience following Secure Coding Practices and/or developing Cyber Security Solutions
A desire to be part of a large and eclectic Cyber Architecture, Assessment, Development, and Consulting team
Standout with experience/familiarity with low level Kernel development for select high-speed traffic control
Experience designing, testing and debugging complex software applications with many interdependencies and interfaces
Creative thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a continuous learning mindset
