Job SummaryJob DescriptionMedline Industries, LP in Northfield, IL is seeking experienced Sr. IS Business Systems Analyst(s) to understand business requirements and drive the design and delivery of quality technical solutions. Individual(s) will be responsible for project planning, execution, and implementation of changes to reporting solutions as well as ensuring accurate and timely data solutions delivery to business partners. Individual(s) will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of computer science principles and concepts, as well as experience with software development capabilities and tools, to perform the duties of the position.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

Responsible for working closely with the team and business sponsors.

Responsible for project management of large BI solution projects/initiatives including scope, budget, and timeline management.

Responsible for defining acceptance criteria with business liaisons.

Supporting business users during acceptance testing, production migration, and post go-live support.

Involved in reviewing BI enhancements during all project phases - requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and issue resolution.

Possess an in-depth understanding of the business function/process supported, and also be viewed as a credible representative of that business function/process.

Work closely with the team to ensure on-time delivery of quality solutions with minimal rework.

Responsible for solutions effort estimation and making decisions regarding resource allocations.

Responsible for driving continuous improvement within the team processes and deliverables.

Responsible for working closely with the manager to prioritize business issues and new initiatives, and set the team direction.

Influence business leadership and management decisions and drive ownership and acceptance of changes to the business.

Responsible for product ownership and working with business partners for improvements to drive business.

Develop and document use cases when necessary.

Assist with QA testing, when necessary.

This position has no direct reports and does not supervise any other employees.Minimum requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer or Software Engineering, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) through which the required experience was gained.

In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the company will accept a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer or Software Engineering, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) through which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:

Working with design or development teams through full development lifecycle.2.

SOAP3.

RESTful APIs4.

Micro services5.

Two or more of the following UX design tools: JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax or Balsamiq.6.

SQL7.

Demonstrated experience in application development using No-Code, Low-Code platform.
