Overview
ISHPI
supports the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) by developing, modernizing, and enhancing its enterprise applications. We provide sustainment services by maintaining, securing, and supporting the applications and migrating them to the DMDC cloud environment.Responsibilities
You will analyze requirements and designs and implement software components during sustainment and cloud migration activities
You will implement changes to migrate legacy applications and tools to use current enterprise technologiesYou will implement and support remediation of any identified security vulnerabilitiesYou will follow an agile development methodologyYou will create and maintain required project, technical, and user documentationYou will support release and testing activities as neededYou will ensure that quality and security is built into the applications throughout the SDLC
Qualifications
Requirements (education/experience/certifications):U.S. CitizenshipAbility to pass a Government background investigation for position of trust3+ years of relevant software development experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldWithin 2 months of hire, meet IAT-I requirements or higher as specified in DoD 8570.01-M (one of the following security certifications, or higher: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP)Experience in design, development, and sustainment of enterprise applications with a Java-based technology stackPreferences (education/experience/certifications):Experience with software projects for U.S. Federal government/DoDExperience with cloud environments and containerizationExperience with Log4j 2, Kubernetes, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Prior DMDC experience strongly preferredSpecific technologies in use:Java, Oracle WebLogic, Angular, Spring, JPA, Oracle 12c RDBMSHTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, REST, Web Services, Node.jsOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Log4j 2, Kubernetes"Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
