Mental Health Professional Program Supervisor

to join our team. This full time role will work closely with our Day Treatment and Partial Hospitalization teams.Purpose of this position:

Provides direct psychiatric screening, assessment and treatment for persons living with mental illnesses; evaluates care and programming; provides individual, family and group psychotherapy; develops programming as needed; provides clinical supervision to post-masters Mental Health Associates (LAMFT, LPC, LGSW); and oversees day-to-day clinical operations and clinical program oversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides mental health evaluation and treatment services including: initial and ongoing screeners; diagnostic assessments; initial treatment plans and treatment plan updates; individual, family, and group psychotherapy services; psychoeducation; care coordination and referrals; crisis services; and discharge planningCompletes documentation and billing in a timely and accurate manner for clinical services providedLeads multidisciplinary care team roundsProvides clinical supervision to clinical trainees (practicum students, interns, and fellows)Assists in maintaining standards for clinic accreditation by health management organizations and state licensure/certificationProvides clinical supervision to post-Masters Mental Health Associates (LAMFT, LPC, LGSW)Oversees day-to-day clinical operations and clinical program oversightResponsible for and evaluates the effectiveness of treatment servicesSupervises and participates in the development, modification and implementation of individual treatment plans and service components provided by the programMay provide administrative oversight of program staff, to include the selection, hiring, supervision, and performance management of program staffOther duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :Minimum Qualifications:Meets the DHS definition for Mental Health Professional(See MN Statute 245.462, Subd. 18. Mental health professional)Minimum of two years of experience as an MHP or MHA

-OR-An approved equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, working with persons living with mental illnesses and addictions.Leadership experienceKnowledge of MN DHS standards and rulesBoard-approved supervisor

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:Ability to provide psychotherapy to patients and families; ability to recognize and document patient progressAbility to work cooperatively with other members of the multidisciplinary clinical teamSkilled in supervisory duties (i.e. hiring, firing, performance appraisals, pay reviews)Ability to interact with individuals of widely diverse lifestyles including ability to deal objectively with individuals whose attitudes and behaviors differ from his/her ownAbility to read and interpret written instructions, patient charts, and physicians' notesAbility to interpret policies and procedures in an advisory capacity (educate)Ability to use computer systems, including electronic medical records, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, etc.)

License/Certifications:Must be a licensed mental health professional per MN Department of Human Services - LMFT, LICSW or LPCC
