Workday Integration EngineerSeattle, WA - onsite 2 days a week6 month contract to hire (after 6 months on contract, convert to a permanent employee)Must Haves:5-7 years of experience with Workday Integrations, Workday Integration Cloud Platform, Integration Cloud Connect, APIs, EIBs, Workday Studio, Business Objects, Calculated Fields, etc.Demonstrated experience in problem solving and issue resolution within business and technical contexts, including phases of fit-gap analysis, system design and configuration, security design, system integration, testing, training, reporting, requirements tracking, and business process improvement.Experience with Financials Systems like Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Taleo, or other SaaS and On-Premise ERP systems.Experience working with an HR / Payroll systems at a technical level.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProficient in REST API, JavaData delivery formats (CSV, XML, TXT)Experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.Ability to communicate clearly, in writing and orally, to both technical and non-technical audiences.Preferable: Experience with Workday Extend, Prism, OrchestrateDay to day:(35%) Building and Testing of Integrations. This position builds Workday HR / Payroll integrations. This includes:Becoming knowledgeable on the integration configuration for common and advanced solutions within the Workday development and configuration environment.Influencing the decision-making process for configuring and developing integration solutions considering short and long term goals.Managing development, enhancements and migration of Workday integrations across tenants.(35%) Support, Maintenance, Troubleshooting. This position provides Tier 2 support for integration issues for both internal and external systems. This includes:Providing subject matter expertise for integration related issues.Improving performance, error handling, and monitoring of integrations.Working with various support tools to monitor and enhance integrations like Service Now, and Kainos.(20%) Integrations Strategy, Analysis and Design. This position contributes to architecture strategy, analysis and design for delivery of integrations. This includes:Analyzing business requirements for HR / Payroll integrations to/from other systems and translating these into Workday integrations.Discussing integration solutions with technical experts of downstream systems.Communicating the process of design, build, test and deployment of the integrations.Providing design support for system owners as they assess the impact on their systems.Creating integration design documents.Contributing content towards having an accurate record of all design decisions.Ensuring the integrations are configured following vendor guidelines and according to the requirements in design documents.Reviewing and contributing to the overall testing strategy and plan.Participating in the design and running of end-to-end tests of the system.Enhancing existing integrations to the needs of new and revised requirements(10%) CommunicationIdentify and articulate issues for escalation.Alert integration supervisor when change requests are necessary to achieve outcomes of integration solutions.Collaborate and communicate across organizational units.Compensation:$70-80/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
