MTSI is seeking a Communications Integrator to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO) . The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT within 27 months. The Communications Integrator will provide wired/wireless network recommendations to ensure the HMIF prototypes maintain connectivity in a highly challenged tactical RF environment.The Communications Integrator is responsible for:Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents.Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders.Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.Assists telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents.Will coordinate Communications and Networking requirements with Network Working Group, manage a multi-disciplinary HMIF SEIT and plan the development and delivery of communications and networking requirements for HMIF.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology related field of study with a network engineering focus.6+ years experience - can be an equivalent combination of training, work experience and, preferably, applicable military experienceActive Secret Clearance6+ years progressively complex experience working collaboratively with program management, systems engineers, schedule analysts, and operations personnel in a concurrent engineering environment5+ years of direct experience with Army network development2+ years of experience managing network development teams2+ years in cyber or C4ISR systems, computers, and tactical communications systemsDesired Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to author point papers and policy documents for executive approvalDemonstrated ability to brief and advise senior officers including flag and SES levelsExcellent communication skills including the ability to work on multi-functional teamsStrong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardwareAbility to think through problems and visualize solutionsAbility to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllersKnowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocolsAbility to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systemsProvides specific detailed information for hardware and software selectionAbility to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resourcesAbility to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organizationA self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environmentGood analytical and problem-solving skillsDependable and flexible when necessaryNetwork security experienceLAN and WAN experience#LI-AS1
