Network Engineer

Network EngineerOur client is a technology and clinical service solutions provider based in MA looking to hire a Layer 3 Campus / SD-WAN Network Engineer. This individual will design, implement, and manage SD-WAN and network-edge solutions to ensure high performance and security. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This role requires 3 days per week onsite.Responsibilities:Maintain dynamic routing protocols to optimize network performance and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD-WAN solutions with on-premises infrastructureMonitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issuesDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation for standardized network proceduresProvide recommendations for system improvements and optimizationsStay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologiesParticipate in on-call support rotation and respond to network emergencies as neededQualifications:5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN and Layer 3 dynamic routing protocolsStrong understanding and hands-on experience with architecting and deploying SD-WAN solutions from leading vendorsProficiency in configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRPFamiliarity with network security concepts and technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, and access controlRelevant certifications such as CCNP, ACSDX, AWS advanced networking specialist, or equivalent are preferredExperience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow)Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & InclusionThe Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer.
