Technical Agile Project Lead - Remote

The agile project lead's chief responsibility is to manage development sprints effectively and efficiently from planning-to-execution-to-review in an agile development environment. The chosen candidate will be proficient in infrastructure and architecture concepts to lead and manage projects. The candidate will have a sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to development teams and to be able to evaluate complex project risks and issues accurately and objectively. The chosen candidate should have a solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. The role will include running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation, managing support tickets, and unblocking barriers to keep the team moving. Your QualificationsRequiredMinimum 8+ years of project management/agile/development experience and 4+ years leading Agile teamsPTC ThingWorx familiarityPTC Windchill familiarityDemonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.Strong understanding of traditional project management methods as governed by the PMIPossesses Agile Certification (CSM, PSM I, etc.)Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environmentExpert coach on implementation of agile scrumDeep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental developmentStrong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practicesStrong understanding of SDLC and Agile procedures to predict the development teams' needsSolid experience working with Architecture teams to assess and size story/epicsPassionate commitment to delivering products on timeComfortable with presenting project readouts to Executive level audienceDeep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planningAbility to understand and represent both the business and technologyUnderstanding of programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C++, PHP, etc.)Understanding of form or web-based UI designUnderstanding of SQL and database designUnderstanding of REST-based web services and JSONUnderstanding of ETL, data migration, and integrationUnderstanding of object-oriented programmingKnowledge of polymorphismKnowledge of OData protocolStrong customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communicationSelf-motivated, organizeAbility to follow security protocol to protect sensitive dataU.S. CitizenBachelor's Degree in qualifying technical field
