Junior Product Owner.
This is a long-term contract opportunity based out of Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid).We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Owner to join our growing product team. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior product managers, development teams, and stakeholders to help drive the vision and development of our products. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in product management and gain hands-on experience with the product development lifecycle.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 2+ years of experience in a product-related role, preferably as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a technical capacity.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Basic knowledge of product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with cross-functional teams (development, QA, design, etc.).Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC).Certifications in Scrum or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Senior Product Owner and development teams to define product requirements, goals, and deliverables.Assist in the creation and maintenance of the product backlog, ensuring that it is properly prioritized and refined.Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that product developments meet user needs.Document user stories, product features, and acceptance criteria to clearly communicate the development team's tasks.Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.Support the product launch process, including working with marketing, sales, and customer support teams.Analyze product performance metrics and customer feedback to suggest improvements and guide product decisions.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies relevant to our product offerings.Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $45/hour to $50/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.Solugenix will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act and Ordinance.
