Java Engineer IIPosition OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Java Engineer II to join our technology team for a Banking Client in Phoenix, AZ. In this onsite role, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing critical banking applications that support our financial services and risk management platforms.The primary focus of this role is to develop and enhance a large-scale Java-based application that supports our risk decision and asset management platforms for effective risk data management.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications, with a focus on enhancing our risk decision and asset management platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.Utilize the Spring framework to build robust and efficient backend systems.Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.Write clean, maintainable code and develop comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.Required Qualifications:Solid foundation in core Java engineering principles.5 to 8 years of experience in building large-scale applications using Java and the Spring framework.Strong preference for experience with cloud environments (public or private).Deep understanding of software development methodologies with a strong emphasis on all stages of analysis, development, and testing.Proficiency in writing effective JUnit tests and ensuring comprehensive code coverage.Skilled in troubleshooting issues across both test and production environments.Location:
Phoenix, AZ (3 days onsite)Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between $120,000 - $130,000 annually.
