Salesforce Platform ArchitectRemote12+ monthsJob Summary:Client is seeking a Salesforce Platform Architect to join the Information Technologyorganization. You will be responsible for delivering the technology strategy for Salesforce use.This role has the highest level of technical expertise and manages the overall technical structureand global configuration of Salesforce, based on the business strategy and needs. You will needto partner with both business and technology stakeholders to ensure that the Salesforcestrategy and execution align with the Client's overall objectives. This role collaborates with thetechnical teams and product managers supporting Salesforce and other Sales applications toprovide solution options and identify any issues leading to potential downstream impacts. Youwill also be responsible for ensuring platform health and agility to support current and futureneeds.Primary Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders in defining future-statetechnology architectures and roadmap that take into account the future business goalsand competing prioritiesWork with stakeholders to understand potential opportunities and recommend solutions.Determine and produce artifacts that will guide technical teams to drive to meaningfulbusiness outcomesProvide oversight for technical work to ensure platform standards are followedWork with vendors to understand their technology/feature roadmap and help businessand IT team to plan accordinglyMonitor and maintain platform health using KPIs for performance, data quality, technicaldebt and agilityMaintain up to date documentation of current state architecture, data flows andintegrations for Sales and Support applications.Acts as technical tier 4 for unresolved inquiries within the purview of the role.Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure regulatory and overall data compliance andadherence to business process controls.Required Experience & Skills:3+ years of experience as an application/platform architect, with responsibility fordefining target state architecture for solutions on Salesforce7-10 years of Salesforce Development or advanced admin experienceExtensive knowledge of salesforce governor LimitsStrong working knowledge of Sales, Community and Support/Service. This wouldinclude various Salesforce components such asExperience defining and maintaining technology roadmapsExpertise in applications development such as: Integration Techniques/Patterns, DataModeling/Patterns, Security PatternsEffective interpersonal skills to influence and socialize the solution designsThorough understanding of the Sales domainAble to define platform development/configuration standardsExperienced with the principles of agile development methodologiesNice to have experience:Design and building of custom solution or managed packages for salesforceTechnical governance oversight of multiple development teamsApplication or system architect Salesforce certifications a plus
