Element6's client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis (onsite 1x per week). This individual will be responsible for designing, supporting, delivering, and maintaining our client's IT infrastructure including network, domain, servers, storage and operational requests. Ensures the continuous operation and delivery of IT services to support the company's associates and members.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an IT Infrastructure delivery and/or support role.Minimum of 9 years' working experience in an IT infrastructure delivery, design and support role for on-premise and/or cloud infrastructure.Minimum 5 years of experience implementing, administering and managing cloud technology (such as Azure, AWS or GCP); preferably Azure.Minimum 4 years' experience with core access and identity components such as Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP & DFS.Minimum 3 year's proven experience supporting VMWare and Cisco Networking, including routers, switches and firewalls.Minimum 2 years' experience of creating automated environment deployment processes with tools such as Terraform.Demonstrated understanding of enterprise networking - ACLs, routes & traffic flow, VLANs, and subnets.Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to branches.On-call availability for emergency support calls 24/7 with a half hour response time and off-hours availability for maintenance windows.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independentlyDemonstrated ability to use judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.Demonstrated experience in balancing multiple priorities and managing a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to mentor and knowledge share as needed to team members and peersMust have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to the position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.Responsibilities:Provides support for the design, implementation and operation of Microsoft Windows, Linux, AiX, VMWare and cloud infrastructure platforms.Provides support for the LAN, WAN, Firewall and Load Balancing solutions.Provides support for the design, implementation and operation of Microsoft application environments - Active Directory, Exchange, O365.Provides support for the design, implementation and operation of the standard infrastructure applications - backup, anti-virus, security, patching, monitoring & ITSM tools.Ensures disaster recovery solution is operational, maintained and meeting the business needs.Delivers excellent customer service, resolving support requests and ensuring prompt and effective resolutions within agreed service timescales.Performs maintenance tasks on supported infrastructure and applications during out of hours maintenance windows when required.Escalates calls where significant service affecting incidents or security breaches occur as appropriate.Follows standard operating procedures relating to management of the network and security environments.Completes and maintains accurate documentation.Performs project work and other duties as assigned.
