Energize your Career at SECO Energy!General Purpose of JobThis position serves the company as a dynamic video storyteller with exceptional editing and production capabilities. Responsible for development of a robust internal and external video program for SECO Energy. The position produces a high volume of videos for the website, company Intranet, social media, and submission to media outlets. The position is able to produce videos from storyboard, script, shoot, edit, graphic design, animation, and production. The position also produces quality print and web media products, collaborates with IT on event AV needs, and supports the executive leadership team's presentation needs. The position develops products that foster SECO Energy's position as a two-time J.D. Power award winner in 2015 and 2016.Minimum Required Qualifications and CompetenciesThe following includes the minimum job requirements and essential duties for this position. Some job requirements may exclude individuals that cannot be reasonably accommodated or who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves or other employees.EducationBachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.ExperienceFour (4) years of experience in multimedia, video production, journalism, marketing, communications, public relations, or advertising.Experience or similar work in an electric utility or related industry preferred.Licenses/CertificationsLicensed drone pilot or the ability to acquire a license within one (1) year of employment.Other RequirementsAbility to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
