GCP Data Architect

We are looking for a " GCP data architect" ( with Networking background) for our leading Global IT Service Provider, based out of the Irving- TexasQualificationsProficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies and Cloud data Architecture- GCPStrong understanding of database design principles and data normalizationProficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and SQL query optimization, with experience working with both relational and NoSQL databasesExperience in creating Data Architecture Strategy for building reusable Data Products with Self-Service capabilityExperience in defining Data Architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and complianceExperience with data modeling tools such as ERwin or similar toolsKnowledge in GCP services for data storage, processing, and analytics, with hands-on experience in building scalable data architecturesResponsibilitiesAs a Data Architect, you will define the data requirements and structure for the applicationYou will model and design the application data structure, storage, and integrationYour typical day will involve analyzing data needs, collaborating with teams, and designing efficient data models and storage solutionsYou will also be responsible for ensuring data integrity and security, as well as optimizing data performance and scalabilityJoin our team and contribute to the success of our data-driven projectsArchitect and design scalable data solutions on GCP to support various data product initiativesCreate Solution Outline and Macro Design to describe end to end product implementation in Data Platforms including, System integration, Data ingestion, Data processing, Serving layer, Design Patterns, Platform Architecture Principles for Data platformCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data architecture designsDefine, Develop and maintain data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and complianceDesign and optimize data models, ETL pipelines, and data integration processes to support efficient data workflows and analyticsImplement data management strategies for structured and unstructured data, including data partitioning, indexing, and optimization techniquesLead the evaluation and selection of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data architecture capabilities and drive innovationContribute to reusable components asset accelerator development to support capability developmentProvide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers, analysts, and other team members to promote knowledge sharing and skill developmentMonitor and optimize the performance of data systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliabilityDefine layered architecture and lead technical teams - presentation layer, data layer, business layer, etcStay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture, cloud computing, and big data analyticsEnsure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulationsOptimize data performance and scalabilityStay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture
