This position offers an exciting opportunity to design and manage Data Architectural solutions across multiple environments, including Data Warehouse, ODS, and Data Replication/ETL Data Management systems. As a Senior Data Architect, you will work closely with Business, DBA, ETL, and Data Management teams to provide solutions for complex data-related initiatives.Your expertise will be crucial in developing and managing Data Governance and Master Data Management solutions. This role requires not only technical prowess but also excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor effectively. You will be at the forefront of establishing best practices, ensuring data standardization, and driving architectural solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage policies, procedures, and guidelines for all aspects of Data GovernanceEnsure data decisions are consistent and adhere to best practicesMaintain and update Data Standardization definitions, Data Dictionary, and Data LineageCollaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to determine best practices for data transformations, movements, and derivationsWork with support teams to implement consistent and proactive support methodologiesMentor Data Architects and Data Analysts to ensure adherence to best practices in database design and data managementAssist in overall Architectural solutions for Data Warehouse, ODS, and Data Replication/ETL initiativesCoordinate with business teams and Enterprise Architecture to ensure optimal data-centric architectural solutionsCreate and implement a strategic roadmap for Master Data Management (MDM)Lead the implementation of a Master Data Management toolDocument and enforce Architectural rules and design of the MDM processRequired Experience/Skills13+ years of Data Architecture experience, including OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data13+ years of Solution Architecture experience13+ years of Master Data Management (MDM) experience15+ years of Data Governance experience, with working knowledge of best practicesExtensive working knowledge of all aspects of Data Movement and Processing, including Middleware, ETL, API, OLAP, and best practices for data trackingExcellent communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and in team environmentsCapable of presenting to all levels of audiencesNice-to-HavesExperience in the energy or utilities sectorFamiliarity with regulatory compliance in data managementKnowledge of emerging technologies in big data and cloud computingExperience with data visualization toolsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldAdvanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF) are a plusPay & Benefits SummaryCompetitive hourly rate: $70 to $80 per hourPlease note: Additional benefits information is not provided and should be clarified with the hiring managerCall-to-ActionApply now to join our innovative team and shape the future of data architecture in the energy sector!Senior Data Architect | Data Governance | Master Data Management | ETL | Data Warehouse | Solution Architecture | Big Data | OLAP | Data Modeling | Utilities
