Principal, Azure Full Stack Developer

is responsible for the design, building, modification and support of data pipelines leveraging DataBricks and PowerBI in a medallion architecture setting. This role will also assist the Operations Team with any environmental issues that arise during application deployment in the Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.Key Accountabilities:Microsoft Azure data PaaS services, design, build, modify, and support data pipelines leveraging DataBricks and PowerBI in a medallion architecture settingIf necessary, create prototypes to validate proposed ideas and solicit input from stakeholdersExcellent grasp of and expertise with test-driven development and continuous integration processesAnalysis and Design - Converts high-level design to low-level design and implements itCollaborate with Team Leads to define/clarify business requirements, estimate development costs, and finalize work plansRun unit and integration tests on all created code - Create and run unit and integration tests throughout the development lifecycleBenchmark application code proactively to prevent performance and scalability concernsCollaborate with the Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting, resolution, and change managementSupport and Troubleshooting - Assist the Operations Team with any environmental issues that arise during application deployment in the Development, QA, Staging, and Production environmentsAssist other teams in resolving issues that may develop as a result of applications or the integration of multiple componentsMentor technical staff and manage the technical delivery of significant part of the ecosystemQualified candidates should possess:11 + years of experience in software development with minimum 5 years of cloud computing, and 1+ years in DataBricks, Synapse or Snowflake is requiredDemonstrate the ability to transform functional and nonfunctional needs into system requirements; develop and code complicated applications; create test cases and scenarios based on specifications is requiredSolid knowledge of SDLC and agile techniques is requiredGood understanding of design concepts and architectural basicsKnowledge of performance engineeringGood understanding of quality processes and estimate methodsFundamental grasp of the project domainCurrent understanding of new technology and trendsDemonstrate logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to collaborate in a team settingCloud Platform->Azure Developer->Microsft Azure/PAAS is requiredSQL and PowerBI is requiredPython is preferredPowerApps, Java is preferredBachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fieldParexel Benefits:Health, Vision & Dental InsuranceTuition ReimbursementVacation/Holiday/Sick TimeFlexible Spending & Health Savings AccountsWork/Life Balance401(k) with Company matchPet InsuranceFull list of benefits available here:At Parexel we embrace flexibility and understand that in today's fast-paced world, employees need to balance their careers with their personal lives.
