Learn more about us here.OverviewThis role is part of the global Chief Security Office (CSO) team based in Cary. You will be responsible for the design and engineering of network security solutions delivered by the CSO Chief Technology Office (CTO). You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Bank's network security infrastructure. This will include the evaluation, development and implementation of network security tooling, and controls. What You'll DoAs a Network Security Engineer, you will have a wide breath of responsibility including system architecture, tool deployment, integrations, troubleshooting, vendor engagement, and documentation

Provide expertise and thought leadership on security and network technologies with an emphasis on requirements, design, and best practice implementation

Engineer tools, on premise and cloud. Develop automation, integrations, and monitoring

Identify, scope, and design network tool implementation plans. Produce high quality documentation

Take ownership of deliverables, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. Establish product support procedures, serve as final L3 engineering escalation

Skills You'll NeedModerate experience with network and security engineering, designing, and deploying solutions in large scale, enterprise networks

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Security, Network, or Cloud certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CCNA

Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and network security technologies and protocols. Knowledge of Network Detection & Response, network monitoring, packet capture, NIPS/NIDS.Splunk or other SIEM, configuration, integration, and log analysis

DevOps experience across Cloud (GCP) and UNIX (RHEL) systems using Terraform

Strong knowledge in current security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies

Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
