The ideal candidate should have a data-driven, business-oriented mindset in data analytics, including mining, cleansing, and visualization to transform data into goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth. In conjunction with business analyst and product owners, the data analyst will work closely with leaders across care, marketing, product, sales, engineering and IT to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.Duties & ResponsibilitiesData and Reporting functions:Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalizationGenerating reports from single or multiple systemsProviding quality assurance and tagging of dataHelping develop reports and analysisManaging master data, including creation, updates, and deletionManaging and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirementsAssessing Tests and Implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems

Troubleshooting/Problem Solving:

Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reportsEvaluating changes and updates to source production systems

Thinking Ahead:

Anticipating future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and businessDesigning/implementing solutions to meet these needs

General:

Ensuring accuracy of data and deliverables with comprehensive policies and processesAdhering to regular and predictable attendance and punctualityPerforming other duties as assigned

QualificationsEducation:

College degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience in related field required.Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with large datasets and various reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Einstein Analytics. Experience writing or updating basic scripts for data extraction and analysis. Proven experience in BI and Analytics. Knowledge of industry standards recommended. It's a plus if you are familiar with agile development processes.Key CompetenciesLanguage Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportion to practical situations.Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Experience working with and creating dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.Strong problem-solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.The right candidate will also be proficient and experienced with the following tools/programs:

Expertise with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.Experience with analytics tools (Power BI).Ability to quickly learn additional platforms as needed.

Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.
