Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Corporate Operations and Command Business Departments of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. Responsibilities You will serve as the Chief Information Systems Architect (CISA) and digital platform subject matter expert for the Corporate Operations and Command Business Departments. You will be responsible for developing and establishing IT architectural infrastructure strategy and policy to meet ever-evolving requirements with multi-system/agency data exchange, cybersecurity, cross-domain solutions, and resiliency. You will lead and support department level responsibilities, projects, and teams relating to the development and sustainment of Command level digital computing environments. You will establish, create, solve, design and implement digital environments, technical direction, strategic planning, process improvements, and day-to-day operations that support the overall IT Strategic Planning efforts and investment strategy. You will establish strategies that enable the future architecture of all Command level Zero Trust/Comply to Connect environments for unclassified and classified systems. You will develop and sustain a comprehensive Command network diagram which includes all Department inner and outer connectivity and provides a holistic IT perspective of the entire Command. You will be responsible for current and future Wartime Readiness IT efforts for the Business Departments. You will provide technical guidance and expertise in the resolution of complex IT challenges and oversees command-wide IT initiatives such as data center consolidation and cloud implementation for both on-site and off-site systems/networks. You will establish strategies to enable future architecture of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) utilization and implementation across the Command. You will work with four technical departments and three Business Departments to implement and sustain an inspection ready and continuous monitoring environment for all Command systems. You will implement internal controls, human resource management, goal setting techniques, and team building activities to effectively engage scientists, engineers, technicians and support staff to achieve the position's responsibilities. You will develop strategies and approaches to support the development of the Department's digital connectivity, both internal and external that align to the Command's Mission and Vision, as well as Command goals and strategic initiatives. You will work with internal and external entities, across confidential, secret information elements and programs, to facilitate data ingestion, accessibility and curation, as well as transformation of product delivery to customers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Designing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies to lead projects, manage multi-system data exchanges, cybersecurity, or digital environments in order to ensure readiness and future technology advancements.
