Cleared Software Developer

Insight Global is looking for a software developer to form a new team to develop a variety of custom applications. Applications will be used by their Security Operations Center and other analysts to enhance the security of their network. We are seeking personnel with at least 3 years of experience who have a desire to work as part of a small, agile team to enhance four existing applications and develop one new application primarily using Python. The selected candidates will have a tremendous opportunity to grow and enhance their skills.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Coding primarily in Python.Developing feature enhancements and addressing bugs for several different applications.Convert legacy code to modern methods allowing for ease of code re-use and development.Work to move from a waterfall to agile-based development model.Must Haves:Active DoD Security ClearanceActive CompTIA Security+ CE certification3+ years of experience coding software
