Job Title: UI-Developer- Pre-Trade Fixed Income ITJob Type: ContractJob Location: New York, New YorkA global investment bank is seeking UI developer to join a dynamic teamThe Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team is responsible for providing Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equity/Securities Lending and Credit businesses with reliable and time-sensitive IT solutions to meet their needs. The team is involved in the different phases of application development: user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, within an agile framework. The s (Web/Desktop) UI developer will be responsible for designing and developing a seamless, intuitive user interface that enhances collaboration between sales and traders in the Rates/FX domain. This role requires a deep understanding of both web and desktop development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly interfaces for web and desktop platforms that facilitate collaboration between sales and traders.Work closely with stakeholders, including sales teams, traders, and other developers, to gather and understand requirements.Implement responsive and interactive UI elements using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and desktop frameworks (Tauri, .NET, Kotlin Multiplatform, etc.).Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize the application for performance and scalability.Be part of the UX/UI design to provide the best the user experience.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the application to ensure functionality and usability.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a UI Developer with a strong portfolio of cross-platform projects. Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like SvelteKit, React, Angular, or Vue.jsExperience with desktop development frameworks like Tauri, .NET (Blazor/MAUI), Kotlin Multiplatform, or similar.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.Experience in the financial sector, particularly with Rates/FX, is a plus
