SummaryAbout this PositionThe Lead Test Automation Engineer is a hands-on player coach role that leads all aspects of our test automation strategy and practice. This includes test automation for backend REST API's, Web Applications, and Mobile Applications. As a lead, it is also required that you mentor and lead other test automation engineers and be a significant contributor on more difficult tasks such as estimation and planning and providing guidance on the most challenging technical issues.QualificationsPreferred Experience and RequirementsB.S. Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related degree.1+ years of experience of formal or informal technical/team leadership.7+ years of experience in creating automated end to end tests, including API, Web Application, and mobile testing.Strong Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium Webdriver, TestComplete, TestingWhiz, etc.Strong Knowledge of programming and scripting Languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)Strong communication and collaboration skillsStrong knowledge of modern best practice for test automation, including test coverage, avoiding test fragility, continuous integration, etc.Deep experience with testing web applications for desktop and mobile browsers using Selenium and one of BrowserStack and SaucelabsExperience testing native mobile applications for Andriod and iPhoneStrong knowledge of configuration management tools, Git preferredKnowledge of manual testing requiredExperience working in an agile environment, Scrum preferredUndersetting of the software lifecycle, engineering practices, and software testing processA self-driven individual who can take general directions and objectives and drive them towards successful project delivery.Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsKnowledge in life sciences regulations and how they impact software quality.
