EpitecPOSITION:DevOps EngineerJOB TYPE:Full-time, W2, 12-month contract with ongoing need, Hybrid - 3 days per weekPAY RATE : $102.00 - 110.00/hr.LOCATION:Chicago, ILJOB SUMMARY FOR DEVOPS ENGINEER:This NorthStar project aims to develop a unified collateral processing backbone across the Firm by integrating existing systems like ACM and HFS Omnium into the new Northern Collateral Services (NCS) platform. This multi-year effort uses Agile methodologies and cloud-native Azure technologies.The project will also replace the legacy Colleen platform with Cloud Margin, a new SaaS solution seamlessly integrated into NCS for full automation. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the NCS development team and lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DEVOPS ENGINEER:Collaborate closely with the NCS Platform development team to develop, maintain, and optimize the CI/CD pipeline for platform integration.Design and implement cloud-native solutions in Azure while ensuring seamless platform integration with Cloud Margin.Manage Kubernetes clusters and deploy applications using Helm charts.Leverage Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling.Use GitHub Actions for continuous integration and deployment workflows.Ensure the successful migration from on-prem hosting to the cloud, focusing on scalability, automation, and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build an adapter-based framework that integrates ACM and HFS platforms with NCS.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR DEVOPS ENGINEER:8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud computing, and platform integration - Senior level experienceSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR DEVOPS ENGINEER:Expertise in Azure Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes administration and Helm charts for application deployment.Proficient in either Python or JavaScript for scripting and automation tasks.Cloud Computing skills with the ability to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure.Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience working in Agile development teams.Why should you choose Epitec?We started Epitec with a single focus, Placing People First.
