ResponsibilitiesDefining Project Roadmap for Data Migration:Develop comprehensive project plans and roadmaps for migrating data to cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft FabricDefine milestones, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business objectivesCoordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the migration processStay updated with the latest advancements and emerging technologies in cloud computing and data engineeringEvaluate new tools, frameworks, and solutions that could enhance data architecture and migration strategiesProvide recommendations based on industry trends and best practicesOversee the migration of data solutions to Microsoft Fabric (formerly Azure Synapse Analytics)Design scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other relevant Microsoft Fabric technologiesEnsure data security, compliance, and optimal performance during migration and post-migration phases
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Data Engineering Background which includes but not limited to:
Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric:Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.Ability to architect, implement, and optimize data workflows and pipelines on these platforms.In-depth understanding of data engineering principles, data architecture, and data management practices.Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
