Rynse is backed by a fantastic set of top-tier early stage funds including AutoTech Ventures, Founder Collective and Correlation Ventures.Overview:We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our platform, contributing to both frontend and backend components. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team of designers, product managers and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet the needs of our users and drive the success of our business.Our Expectations (Responsibilities/Tasks):Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components of our platform.Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as React.jsDevelop robust, scalable backend services using the AWS cloud platformWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.Build automated testing for CI/CDPerform code reviews, provide constructive feedback and work collaboratively within the engineering teamOptimize application performance and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience under high load conditions.Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings.Skills You'll Need To Bring:Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field5+ years working in AWS (CloudFormation, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, S3, Serverless Framework, CloudWatch)Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your contributions to web-based projectsProficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Material-UI and AWS AmplifySolid understanding of backend technologies in Node.js, experience building RESTful APIs and microservicesExperience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar, including database design, optimization, and queryingFamiliarity with Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., pull requests, code reviews)Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issuesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environmentPassion for learning and a growth mindset, with a willingness to explore new technologies and expand your skill setBonus Points:Ruby on Rails experience with HerokuExperience with any fintech platforms like Highnote related to issuing credit cardsStart-up experience leading projectsUI Design with Figma or ability to contribute to UI/UXFleet management, Expense Management or Fintech software experienceCompensation/Benefits:Competitive salary + bonusHealthcare benefitsWellness perksEquity in early stage startupUnlimited PTO with a minimum of 14 days you must take!Job Type: Full-time
