If you agree, you've come to the right place.Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Software Architect our NYS Information Technology Services Team located in Albany, NY.Key Responsibilities:The candidate will be required to create/analyze the current system, document flows and gather user requirements. They will also be in charge of creating design documents and functional specifications. Will be responsible for coding, debugging, unit testing and integration testing of all user requirements adhering to standards and specifications. Assist with QA and User Acceptance testing. Will also be responsible for migrating the source code to appropriate repositories and publishing the application to different environments.Qualifications:60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.Mandatory Qualifications:

60 months experience of COBOL/CICS/JCL/EZTrieve, in version z/OS 4.2.0/V3.2 or above24 months experience of programming using an object oriented language such as VB, C#, Java60 months of Software Design including the creation of program specifications, prototyping, and the development of logical data models.60 months Business/Systems Analysis including preparing functional specifications, documenting workflow processes in UML modeling tools such as Visual Paradigm or Visio and analyzing system to determine possible problem areas.60 months testing experience including developing test case, creating comprehensive test plans, executing test plans, validating testing at both the data and system level60 months of DB2 in version 10 or above60 months debugging experience using CA-Interest or equivalent to resolve program problems and resolve user/system issues.24 months experience consuming and testing web services including the use of tools such as SoapUi.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
