Hadoop ETL Developer

JOB DESCRIPTIONA large financial services client is seeking a Hadoop & ETL Developer to join their growing team. This individual will support production (L3) in Treasury. This resource will be responsible for understanding design, propose high level and detailed design solutions, propose out of box technical solutions for resolving business problems and technical problems that arise during the real time in production. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills to take a quick decision during the tough times. They will engage in discussions with the information architecture team for coming out with design solutions, proposing new technology adoption ideas, attending project meetings, partnering with near shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment, coordinating with other support teams like L2, development, testing, upstream and downstream partners, etc.We are seeking a candidate to come into the office 3x a week in Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA, or Chandler AZ.Compensation: $65.06 hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE10 years of experience developing applications using Hadoop, 10 years of experience developing ETL solutions using any ETL tool like Informatica, SSIS, etc Strong communication and interpersonal skillsNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEHave a good understanding of all aspects of the application like upstream, database model, data processing and data distribution layersExperience developing applications using Spark, Impala, Hive & PythonExperience in running, using and troubleshooting the ETL & Cloudera Hadoop Ecosystem i. e. Hadoop FS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka, Hue, Oozie, Yarn, Sqoop, FlumeExperience on Autosys JIL scripting.Proficient scripting skills i.e. Unix shell & Perl Scripting
