Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Proposal Writer is responsible for supporting business development and business retention activities (revenue generation) by responding to questionnaires received by the sales or consultant relations teams and upholding a high standard of communication and compliance. What will you do? Serve as a project manager for assigned questionnaires and proposals, completing to a high-quality standard within guidelines and by deadline. (60%) Project management: Work to deadline to gather information from multiple sources across the firm and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and sales representatives. Editing and writing: Adjust standard proposal verbiage to address a specific question or appeal to a particular audience; draft new content as needed; and edit verbiage provided by SMEs or sales representatives for clarity, narrative consistency, and writing mechanics (including brand standards, applicable regulations/laws, and grammar conventions). Content expert: become responsible within the RFP team for an area of content, owning the team's working relationships with related SMEs and capability specialists. Participate in quality control process for the team as an editor and proofreader. (10%) Assist team in maintaining content library within the RocketDocs application. (10%) Proactively support teammates and partners as a subject matter expert when capacity is constrained. (10%). Support process improvement projects and other responsibilities as assigned. (10%) What do you need to succeed? Must-have Exceptional English language skills in editing, writing, and verbal communications Strong project management and stakeholder management 1-5 years of professional work experience Investment or financial industry knowledge a plus What's in it for you?
