Job SummaryWe are seeking a QA Automation Developer who will work independently and with guidance from the Senior Automation Developer to create a comprehensive automation suite for specific application areas, aligned with the company's overall Test Automation Framework. This role will involve leading efforts to validate business processes, systems integration, and web services through the design and adjustment of automation scripts as needed.Job DescriptionAnalyze and understand solution requirements, architecture, and technical designs to determine the necessary scope for automated testing.Define and communicate the automation testing strategy clearly to stakeholders.Develop and establish an initial testing framework, creating detailed automated scripts based on product design discussions.Ensure that automated testing meets agreed standards and satisfies business and operational acceptance criteria.Collaborate with other teams and departments to meet automated testing objectives.Participate in formal meetings with customers and subcontractors when required.Report to management on automated testing activities and address deviations from the plan.Perform automated functional, system, integration, and regression testing.Clearly convey complex technical concepts, both in writing and orally.Implement and develop automated test practices for web and thick client applications, using Selenium-JAVA, TestNG, and Tricentis TOSCA.Design and create test automation scripts using Selenium-JAVA, Core Java, and/or VB Script to address various testing needs such as database impacts, regression testing, and error testing.Work with the QA & Test Management Manager, Sr. Automation Developer, and Test Management Supervisor to establish automation strategies and processes across supported application areas.Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, and any issues that could affect automation or overall product features.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.Skills RequiredMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Preferred Technical Skills:Experience with Oracle RDBMS, including PL/SQL and familiarity with relational database analysis, design, and SQL tuning.Experience with Tricentis qTest and JIRA.Familiarity with the TOSCA test automation tool.Expertise in Java-based automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Rest Assured for APIs, and core Java for process automation. Selenium experience is highly preferred.Experience with Java unit testing frameworks such as Junit and TestNG, with a preference for TestNG.Experience in web application performance testing using tools like LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, or Tricentis NeoLoad.Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices.Understanding of Software Quality Assurance/Quality Control testing techniques and related technologies.Education/Certification/TrainingBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or eight years of relevant experience.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
