Lead Software Engineer

Title: Full Stack Developer (including UX)Location: San Jose, CADuration: 5-6 MonthsW2- ContractJob Description:We are looking for a stellar full stack developer (including UX) who will be responsible for design, development and support of security tools used by security and application developers. These tools help securely release eBay's public facing product lines. The ideal candidate person will be a software developer with engineering experience working on Security attacks reduction through foundational product security fixesRequirements:BSCS degree with 5-7 years of experience or an MS degree with 3+ years of experienceUp to 5 years of related hands-on product development experience with web applications is required; some experience in secure DevOps space will be nice-to-have.Strong Programming experience in development of user interface of web based tools (Node.js, React JS, Angular JS)Ability to build automation tools and REST API-s for security processes and web applications on Java (with Spring MVC) and familiarity with databases (MongoDB or Hadoop, noSQL, Oracle) is required. Knowledge of other languages like Python is a plus.Ability to deep dive into SAST/DAST scan data (from Appscan, Checkmarx) and logs to analyze for security gaps will be a major plusWorking experience with product development teams in a continuous delivery developer role is highly desirable.
