KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark (Python) leveraging Databricks Notebooks and VScode

Implement and manage the Delta Live Tables (DLT) framework and structured streaming for real-time data processing.

Build and support resilient data pipelines for operational systems, actively engage in performance and cost optimization of data solutions, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

Identify redundant manual processes and propose automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.

Develop and maintain unit testing frameworks to validate data solutions and ensure high quality.

Demonstrate proficiency in Azure technologies including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus

Significant experience in developing with Azure DevOps, Spark, particularly in Python, and using Databricks Notebooks within Azure Databricks.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Delta Live Tables (DLT) framework and structured streaming.

Proven track record in building resilient data solutions for operational systems.

Experience in using Azure DevOps for CI/CD and familiarity with unit testing frameworks.

Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Databricks notebooks development, Azure Data Lake Storage, and SQL.
