The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the installation and ongoing support of Windows servers that provide access to the enterprise EMR, Epic.Responsibilities include:Proactive monitoring of Epic application system healthServer Operating System PatchingInstallation/configuration of Epic client system components including feature enhancements and application upgrades- Knowledge of Citrix and its componentsJob requirements:3-5 years experience with installing/maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft windows servers2-4 years experience with the following Microsoft technologies:- Internet information services (IIS) administration- Active directory- File/Print services- Certificate services- Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, PVS, Studio, Application Publishing, Citrix Access Gateway, Citrix ADC, VDICertification/Registration Requirements:Candidate must be willing to acquire Epic client systems proficiency/certification.Other requirements:Excellent communication skills with leaders, applications teamsExcellent organizational and time management skillsPrevious healthcare experience supporting EMR systems is preferredExperience with Epic Client Systems Administration is preferredExperience with Citrix load balancing and virtual application delivery is a plus
