Lead Network Engineer
to join our team supporting the advanced Cyber TRIDENT Program. In this role, you will lead the implementation and delivery of capability focused on Cyber Training systems, making a significant impact within the industry.Your Main Responsibilities:Provide network administration support for development, deployment, and problem identification and remediation.Ensure maximum system uptime and rapidly respond to hardware and software failures.Monitor and correct network issues, maintain security patches, software and hardware.Communicate with users and publish status of any system outages.Prepare technical reports and briefings to provide status to leadership.Examine system data and implement enhancements to improve reliability.Support system installations and upgrades for networks and servers.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree and 12+ years of IT-related experience, including Network Administration / Engineering or Master of Science Degree with 10+ years.Active TS/SCI security clearance.Experience in analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and firewalls.Strong capability in Cisco switching and WAN/LAN technologies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Security + Certification.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with mentoring or managing a team of engineers.Familiarity with configuring network devices utilizing Python and Ansible.Experience with enterprise network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Smartnet, Splunk, or similar technologies.
