Data Analyst

Our company is Dales Superstore, an industry leader in the Automotive Diesel and Gas Aftermarket Parts Market. We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and analytics, with expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a goal oriented problem solver.

Essential Duties:

Analyze complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations

Implement and improve our databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Working within SQL and non-SQL databases

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Data Analytics or Data Science

Proficiency in SQL for querying databases (Required)

3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge of ETL processes and tools

Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile

Ability to work on servers for data extraction and analysis

Nice-to-have: experience with Visio for process mapping
