PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the CORPS CHIEFS OFFICE of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY. Responsibilities You will provide support related to Civilian Corps assignments within Navy Medicine that require analysis, coordination, and executive level correspondence. You will provide program support and serve as an advisor for BUMED Civilian Leadership Development Programs. You will provide administrative support in the successful development and implementation of programs for the Office of Civilian Corps Chief. You will provide program support for BUMED Individual Development and Mentor Program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting assessments of training needs across an organization and identifying training opportunities and resources. Experience evaluating the impact of training on the organization, trend analysis, and preparing command level training reports. Experience analyzing budget submissions and exercising budgeting responsibility in support of Civilian training programs. Experience advising and assisting training and budget personnel in resolving issues relating to the execution of training funds.
