Responsibilities

This opening will fill a key role in the Howmet Engines marketing organization and be responsible for leading BU marketing activity for the Howmet Engines. The contributions from this role aide and advise the commercial leadership team in setting strategic direction for our business segments. This highly motivated individual will also be fully integrated into the daily management of commercial performance.

Position preferred location is Whitehall, Michigan but open to any US Engines location, and can be on-site or hybrid.

Primary Responsibilities:Lead financial and business case modeling for LTA bid packagesInteract with operating sites on cost information used for quotingActive participant in strategic LTA renewals and quote reviewsLTA performance tracking (post agreement), including cost / margin correlationMaintain critical engine maps, including current share condition and target productsPartner with Non-LTA SPA to drive incremental margin & policy disciplinesIdentify opportunities (cost & price actions) to influence product level financialsTranslate complex/large data sets into summary form for executive consumptionMarketing liaison for corporate demand team on forward demand / correlative dataLead long range sales planning process for Aerospace operationsMajor Customers include:All Howmet Engines Aerospace Customers, including General Electric, United Technologies, Rolls-Royce, and Honeywell.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Minimum 8 years' experience in sales, marketing, and/or program management of relevant industryMust be able to travel up to 25%Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Business.Experience in aerospace industry highly desired10 or more years of experience in relevant industryExceptional Microsoft Office capability (including Excel & PowerPoint)Advanced verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

The Howmet engines business produces world-class aerospace engine components, including investment castings, fasteners, rings and forgings. Our vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts enable the next generation of quieter, cleaner and more fuel-efficient aerospace engines. Able to supply more than 90% of structural and rotating aerospace engine components.
