JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the IT hardware assets within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording hardware assets through the technology asset lifecycle. Requires data import and analysis, exception identification and remediation, risk mitigation, compliance tracking, develop and maintain processes and communications, client service request support, contract renewals, tool support, governance, controls, and reporting.

Asset collaboration: Collaborating with IT teams and customers to ensure accurate tracking and management of IT assets.

Asset lifecycle: Supporting the lifecycle management of technology assets from acquisition to retirement.

Accounting: Overseeing financial accounting, including depreciation and net book value

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Work closely with all areas of Enterprise Technology to maintain a complete and accurate technology asset inventory

Maintain and support IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and communications

Provide Governance support for IT Asset Management tools and processes.

Perform compliance reviews for standard hardware and software related products and remediate/optimize as needed

Analyze asset inventory data, monitor and complete remediation as needed

Provide support and maintenance for IT Asset Management related tools.

Support and/or lead Hardware/Software audits (internal and external) including mitigating any risks identified

Support and/or lead specialized projects related to technology asset management

Work with asset disposal vendors to ensure proper disposition of technology assets and maintain proper disposal documentation

Develop, maintain, and provide key metrics and reporting to support business decisions and performance monitoring

Remediate non-tolerant metrics and/or risk remediation findings as needed

Support hardware and software client service requests within agreed to SLAs

Support software and hardware contract renewals and provide reporting and data to sourcing and supplier management teams

Provide coaching to less experienced team members

Provide team activity reporting updates to leadership

Supports efforts to ensure ITAM Discipline is adhered to across all aspects of the ITAM Process

Identifies, manages and reports technology asset management cost savings opportunities

Implement optimization and automation opportunities across all aspects of the ITAM Discipline

QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in a technology or finance related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and / or work experience

Five years of related experience or equivalent knowledge and proven success

High degree of initiative, mature judgment and discretion

Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments

Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization

Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines

Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment

Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly

Works independently with little supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with IT Asset Management inventory and discovery tools

IT Service Management Knowledge and Experience

IT Asset Management Related Certifications (CHAMP, CSAM, ITIL, etc.)

Experience using Ariba to review and approve invoices and look up PO’s and contracts

Experience with looking up IT fixed assets in the SAP tool

Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Module
